Happy Earth day!
What better way to celebrate nature than to explore Biophilic Design...a regenerative design approach that enhances our connection to nature through the built environment.
Studies show that Biophilic Design not only improves property values but also provides numerous psychological and physiological benefits. Spaces built in harmony with nature reduce stress-related illnesses, support productivity, and increase personal satisfaction and social interaction.
Here is a permanent shade and rain structure that we designed and built for an Eco Resort overlooking the Ionian Sea in Corfu, Greece. Challenges such as limited access, extreme temperatures, and prevailing winds required a thoughtful collaboration with the client and approach to the project. As a result, the client was able to successfully extend outdoor living spaces while bringing nature closer to inhabitants in a way that is comfortable, functional, and environmentally responsible.
Have you considered how you might incorporate nature into your projects? Let us show you how easy it is to improve an existing space or create a new built environment using Biophilic Design!
